Barrel of Laughs is a stand-up comedy series featuring both nationally recognized acts and our very own local talent. We are bringing the laughs to you once a month throughout the cooler months. Hosted at Prairie Street Brewing Co. at 6:30 p.m. with a variety of seating and beverage options. Shows will take place in The Barrel Room.

Vince Carone known as "The Bad Father", is fast-talking, frenetic, and frustrated. He has a quick-witted, fast-paced style that envelops you with an avalanche of punchlines that never stop. He is chaotic, cathartic, and a complainer. But the deeper he delves into his show the more you relate to him, root for him, and feel his pain just as he relives it, night after night. That’s Vince’s greatest gift, his ability to instantly connect with the everyman (and every woman). He sees the absurdities of the world and he rallies against them. Vince says the things on stage you would only dare to speak in a mumbling, hushed tone when no one else was within earshot.
Vince has been seen on Tubi, TBS and heard on Chicago’s Mancow in the Morning radio show, and WGN Radio. His most recent of his 6-specials “Bad Father” has been met with strong reviews. He was the winner of the 2019 “Best of the Midwest” Competition at Gilda’s Laughfest and headlines the MGM in Las Vegas. Vince’s show is filled with genuine, heartfelt laughs. He’s fast, he’s furious and he is funny. It’s not just a wild ride. It’s a journey. It’s a whirlwind of ranting, raving, and refreshing material. No matter the price, Vince Carone is worth the admission.
Featuring Dan Cassilagio
Daniel Cassilagio (Dan Cass), is a Chicago based comedian/actor that features, headlines, and hosts all major clubs in Chicago and throughout the United States. His favorite spots are The Laugh Factory, The Paper Machete, and Zanies Chicago. Dan has opened for comics including Moses Storm, Joey Villagomez, and Billy Wayne Davis.
He is also a co-producer and co-director of "Lowkey Funny" at The Laugh Factory in Chicago. Dan studied at the Moscow Art Theater in Russia, and was a feature comedian for the first annual, "Boom! Chicago" comedy festival in Amsterdam for 2021, then returned as a Host and Headliner for 2022. Dan's comedy dabbles in surrealism as he seeks connection and joy with his audiences. Serving strangers and turning them into new friends is the reason Daniel loves to perform.
